It's not every day you see goalkeepers score goals. Especially not with a bicycle kick in additional time. Fortunately, when exactly this happened, there was a Veo camera on the sidelines for the Dutch match between KVV Quick '20 and ADO '20.

The top team from KVV Quick '20 hosted ADO '20, who were placed second before the match in a genuine top clash in Holland.

ADO '20 took the lead, and KVV Quick '20 threw everything forward in the final minutes. A free kick outside the box ended up at the feet of goalkeeper Jelle Huitink, who calmly set up the ball before executing an impressive bicycle kick into the net, sparking wild celebrations among the team.

A goalkeeper's bicycle kick in injury time is something that happens very rarely in football. Fortunately for Hutink and his teammates, the team's Veo camera was on the sidelines. This also meant that the goal - because of its rarity - quickly went viral on various social media platforms, which has filled the Dutch goalkeeper with confidence.

“Of course, you are proud when you score a goal like this and see it on different accounts. But I know I can do it again,” the goalkeeper says confidently.

“My friends, teammates, and I have seen it so many times”

The goalscorer himself is still thrilled about the goal he scored earlier in the spring.

“I went crazy when I saw the ball in the net. Within seconds, everyone was celebrating with me. It was unforgettable!” the keeper says when asked about the goal.

The goalkeeper was quickly met by his jubilant teammates, who also watched the clip several times afterward.

“My friends, teammates, and I have seen it so many times. It’s also a crazy moment for them. We can talk about this moment for the rest of our lives.”

Huitink and the rest of KVV Quick '20 use Veo every weekend. Here, it is used to re-watch good goalkeeper goals, analyse specific situations, and improve as a team.

“The Veo makes it easy to see moments back. This makes it easier to analyse a moment and improve it. That’s the way we use it in our dressing room,” the goalkeeper concludes.
