Simon Miedinger’s beautiful goal recorded on Veo has gone viral across social media.
It's not every day that a match in the Swedish third division goes viral, but when IFK Stocksund faced Dalkurd in Division 1, IFK Stocksund's Simon Miedinger scored a goal that has been seen by several million people on social media.
Miedinger, who scored with his right foot despite being left-footed, received the ball on the edge of the box, elegantly flicked it over an opponent, and then first-timed it into the net behind a helpless Dalkurd goalkeeper.
The goalscorer had the following to say about the goal:
"It was a nice feeling when the ball went into the goal. It's not many times you score a goal like that with the wrong foot during a match."
The goal was recently shared on one of the biggest football pages on Instagram, 433, who wrote in the caption: "Imagine this wasn't recorded?"
Miedinger is happy that there was a Veo camera on the sidelines so he can watch the goal whenever he wants:
"It is very funny that you can see the goal over and over again on video. We film all our matches with Veo, and it has worked very well. It is really good and instructive to be able to see yourself during the match again on video," Miedinger ends.
