NCR Partners with Veo
Under the deal, Veo’s cameras will be used to livestream up to 70 national playoff games during the Fall playoffs, greatly expanding the playoff coverage for NCR teams. Veo will also provide exclusive discounts to NCR members purchasing its camera bundles and subscription services, educational resources for coaches, and access to its global rugby experts.
Jeremy Treece, NCR’s Chief Executive, commented, “Veo’s commitment to rugby makes them a natural partner for our members. Veo’s technology provides a cost-effective way for our teams to analyze game film and stream live games for fans.”
Veo is a complete and affordable solution that enables rugby clubs, big and small, to record and analyze their matches and training sessions automatically. The state-of-the-art cameras utilize Artificial Intelligence to capture the game action without requiring a camera operator. Veo’s camera has two 4K lenses to capture 180° that covers the entire field and create amazing game film.
Veo’s AI-powered software also allows coaches, players, and parents to create highlights from matches or training, draw on the screen to create a visual example of a play breakdown or build-up, and even create player-specific highlights that focus the camera on an individual.
The video platform also includes a live streaming feature, providing teams with a new option for broadcasting their matches without expensive production equipment.
“We are excited to work with an organization of NCR’s stature to support rugby in the U.S. College rugby is growing rapidly, and we are proud to help teams increase their game readiness and reach more fans on game day,” added Jono Callaghan, Veo Market Manager
NCR’s collaboration with Veo started at the 2023 Collegiate Rugby Championship, where Veo showcased its cameras for teams and sponsored the pre-tournament coaches' reception.
