About Veo
Here in Veo, we work every day to make sports technology accessible to all. Advanced technology in the world of sport is unfairly distributed, and we’re on a mission to change that. But how did it all start? Let’s take you back in time to the humble beginnings of Veo.
The Veo Story
In the fall of 2015, our co-founder Keld was late for his son’s football game. When he finally arrived at the pitch, his son had already scored a goal. Keld was disappointed not to see the great moment, so he began wondering, ‘why aren’t all football matches recorded?’ Pro clubs and elite-level academies record their matches. But with video technology evolving dramatically with high-end cameras in smartphones and ubiquitous action cameras, why wasn’t it possible to simply, affordably, and easily record all games – from Champions League to Sunday League? That afternoon, the idea of Veo was born.
