Otago’s Rugby Football Union was founded in 1881 and is a union with a proud history of performances on the field providing players to Super Rugby and the All Blacks. More than 150 players have worn both the blue and gold of Otago and the black jersey of New Zealand, more recently among these ranks, Liam Coltman, Ben Smith, and Josh Ioane have sported the Golden O and Silver Fern.
Otago Rugby is the official governing body of Rugby in the Otago province of New Zealand.
