Specific matches will go down in football history as some of the best matches of all time. These are the matches you talk about with your mates repeatedly and that you remember clearly. It could be Liverpool vs Milan in the Champions League final, Argentina vs England in 1986, or Manchester United vs Bayern Munich in the Champions League in 1999.

It could also be Wimborne Town Football Club against Bristol Manor Farm in South League Div 1.

Here, one of the most dramatic football matches took place in a league clash which could see the home team moving on up into 2nd place with a win.

Three goals in stoppage time

After 90 minutes, the match remained level at 1-1, until everything went crazy in stoppage time.

The home team looked to seal the winner as they made it 2-1, before Bristol Manor Farm equalized in the 93rd minute.Wimborne Town subsequently lined up for kick-off in what would clearly be the last play of the game -- and Dan Bartlett decided to shoot the ball from his own half. He rifled the ball behind the goalkeeper to great cheers from the home team and left the away team out of their minds.

What had they all just witnessed? Well, we asked the goalscorer that question.

“The feeling of seeing that ball go in was one that I can’t describe. It’s an unbelievable feeling. The moment of the goal, and with what had happened in the previous few minutes, I don’t think that will ever happen again in my career, and to be fair, it’s something that you don’t see in football. It’s just an incredibly rare moment that will live with me and everyone who was there for years,” Bartlett says.

People followed the match on Veo Live
The home team live-streamed the match with Veo Live, and many people who couldn’t attend the match tuned in to live-stream the drama. Especially one viewer was happy for Bartlett’s last-second screamer:

“Our manager was watching the game through Veo Live from his home as he was sick. He sent me a special message straight after the game, so it was quality to make him happy and give him something to cheer about for the weekend as it looked like it was going to be different moments before the goal.”

After the match, the goal quickly went viral on social media. On Veo’s TikTok alone, it has been seen half a million times by followers worldwide.

“To get the goal recorded on Veo was amazing. Without it, it would have just been something you’d have to explain or see through pictures, and you’d never get to understand just how special that day was, so it’s incredible.”

“After the game, my phone was blowing up. I’ve seen it posted everywhere and had so many messages and interactions on social media from it. It’s great for the club and me to get it out there and for people to see and understand how amazing it was,” Bartlett explains.

When asked how many times Bartlett has watched the goal on the Veo platform, he cannot give a number:

“I’ve watched it back too many times now. It’s something I’ll never get bored of. It still gives me goosebumps watching it now!” Bartlett ends.
